It’s that time of year when we look back, rise above the daily routine and take stock in what we achieved in 2007
This past year has been a time of evolution; we have continuously adapted to an ever-changing world for
the sake of growth and progress through commitment to efficiency, reliability, and most of all, customer
service and support.
2007 became another record year for Multi-Wing International with approximately 20% increase in sales.
The improvement in sales is a result of a strong demand for Multi-Wing impellers and a fast market
penetration of our new products. This year we expanded our product range by adding a new series of
reversible impellers, and by broadening our range. No other impeller supplier in the world is capable
of matching our product offerings.
One of the most exciting events in 2007 was when we received the Pioneer Award 2007 for best e-business
in Denmark. We earned the national honor for implementing Information Technology to manage every facet
of our business processes – sales, purchasing, marketing, e-commerce, internal operations, interaction
with sub suppliers and customers – and for our high level of digitization. The confederation of Danish
Industries selected Multi-Wing from a field of 500 Danish companies.
Another important event in 2007 was the implementation of new machining equipment. To meet the growing
demand for machined components and to offer our customers a broader range of machining possibilities,
we invested in a state-of-the-art CNC Okuma lathe, type LT200M, including a robot and a table. By
implementing new machining equipment, the machine shop was able to increase its efficiency and assure
conformance to customer demands, needs and expectations.
Not everything went our way in 2007. In spring, our objective to deliver 95% on time failed.
However, we got back on track through improvement of our planning system, staff increase and
implementation of new machining equipment.
All in all, Multi-Wing continues to confirm its position as the leading manufacturer of axial
impellers worldwide.
