The Multi-Wing group experiences another record year in 2006.
According to the figures released today, sales are up almost 25 %
compared to last year, which exceeds all expectations. For
Multi-Wing International a·s total sales reached approximately € 20M,
which is 18% higher than budgeted. The increase in sales appears
to be general as all distributors and sister companies report a high
growth rate.
In China, the market is one of the fastest growing. After a
full-year operation, Multi-Wing (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. has achieved a
strong market position and a decent profit, and the growth rate
continues to be high. Multi-Wing (Suzhou) was established in 2005,
situated about 70km west of Shanghai, and today there are 35
employees and the production facilities cover about 2300m2. They
have recently established an efficient machine shop to ensure
competitive prices in favour of not only the Chinese market, but all
Multi-Wing customers.
We attribute first and foremost the increase in sales to a strong
market demand and our continuous effort to comply with this demand
by developing new products and improving existing ones. Our
extensive, cost-effective impeller range can be matched by no other
supplier and gives us a strong competitive edge.
Especially the sickle range has well penetrated the market in 2006
and part of the increase in sales is attributed to its merits. The
overall picture shows that sales benefit from noise emission
regulations as the low noise capabilities of our sickle impellers
make this range the natural choice of engineers around the world in
many different applications ranging from refrigeration systems to
mobile radiators specifically oil coolers, compressors, generators
and other off highway equipment.
