The Optimiser is one of the most advanced
impeller selection softwares available. The programme enables you to
select the optimum impeller solution for your specific air-moving
application. Based on your application requirements, airflow,
pressure and power consumption, the software will select the
impeller that will best meet the required performance.
The log file
Since the launching of the Optimiser in 1999, the programme has been
subject to much alteration. Up until recently, the latest update was
available within the programme. Today, the software is automatically
updated. All the latest changes are registered in the log file,
arranged in order of occurrence.
Updating the software involves no risk. If a problem should occur,
you can always download the programme at
http://download.multi-wing.com. Unfortunately, our experience
indicates that certain users don’t accept to update the programme.
This is, however, a bad idea as it can cause inaccuracy in
documentation.
The latest update is an excellent example of how important it is to
update the Optimiser.
The latest update
All performance data in the Optimiser originates from our wind
tunnel where we test model blades to develop full size blades. We
recently discovered that the performance data of the full size 3W
blade, 6W blade and 10G blade didn’t match the performance data of
the model blades. The performance data has therefore recently been
adjusted.
