After more than two years since the market
introduction of our sickle series, we now offer an extensive range
of sickle shaped impellers to be used in many air moving
applications. Starting from a single sickle shaped blade, the range
now covers six different sickle shaped profiles. The seventh profile,
the 1G impeller, will be added to the sickle range in the first half
of 2007 and will extend the diameter of sickle shaped impellers to
2496mm.
A strong demand for sickle shaped impellers within the refrigeration,
radiator and engine cooling industry encouraged us to increase the
width and depth of the sickle series as a matter of priority. This
demand was triggered by changes in noise emission standards and
other regulations concerning noise.
Our sickle series is the best solution when you must comply with
noise emission regulations as it offers the successful combination
of low noise capabilities and high performance. And that's why our
sickle series is the natural choice of engineers around the world in
many different applications ranging from refrigeration systems to
mobile radiators specifically oil coolers, compressors, generators
and other off highway equipment.
The key benefits of the sickle series are:
Low noise emission
High performance at low speeds
High solidity
Available in diameters from 317mm up to 1980mm, in aluminium and
plastic, mounted with different hub sizes, with flange, conical
shaft or straight bore, the sickle impeller can be customized to fit
your specific application.
