3WL Now Available in PPG
21.09.2006 close window
The 3WL blade in industrial glass reinforced polyamide (PAGI) is excluded from the product range due to the material’s lack of consistency when casting. Although the problem did not affect the finished quality of the blade, the material led to increased cycle times which completely erased the cost advantage. The 3WL blades will be available in glass reinforced polypropylene (PPG) instead as a cost-efficient alternative to glass reinforced polyamide (PAG).

The key benefits of the 3WL impeller are:
  • low noise emission due to the sickle profile
  • larger pressure capability than the 9W
  • high performance at lower speeds
The 3WL blades are designed to have the highest efficiencies in a 5 and 6 bladed hub and in an 8 and 10 bladed hub with half the blades. The blades are available with a fully adjustable pitch from 20° to 55° in glass reinforced polyamide (PAG) and now also in glass reinforced polypropylene (PPG).

Please contact Multi-Wing International a·s or your local sales office for further information. The 3WL impeller is available throughout the worldwide distributor network.
